The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC said 21 suspects have been arrested in Yola, Adamawa state over Internet fraud.
A statement by the EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale issued on Wednesday in Abuja indicates that the suspects were arrested by operatives of the Gombe Zonal Directorate of the anti graft agency on Tuesday, September 24 , 2024 at different locations around Modobo Adamawa University , Yola.
Items recovered at the points of arrest include 13 iphones , 12 Android phones , one laptop and one tablet phone.
Oyewale said the suspects would soon be charged to court.
