The Executive Secretary, Tertiary Education Trust fund TETFund, Arch Sonny Echono has indicated plans by the Fund to partner with the military in the area of research, innovation and technological developments.
Echono said this when he led a TETFund delegation on a courtesy call on the Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
The TETFund boss who commended the military for providing an enabling environment for education to thrive, despite the challenges posed by insecurity in the country, said the Fund will continue to sustain its supportive responsibility towards military institutions on the country.
Responding, the Chief of Defence staff, General Musa who emphasised the relevance of education to human capacity development, said the Armed Forces will continue its unwavering support to educational developments in Nigeria.
