Party Crisis: I Am Still APC Benue State Women Leader – Torher

Benue State’s All Progressive Congress women Leader, Nancy Torher, has call on the leadership of the ruling party to call the National Women Leader Mary Idele-Alile to order.

Mrs. Torher made the call at a news conference at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.

The aggrieved leader, who led Benue State Local Government women leaders to submit a petition to the National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje and the National Working Committee said, since her election in 2021, she has carried out her duties in accordance with the party’s constitution. She said only recently, her attention was drawn to the fact that the National Women leader, connived with an impostor to cause disaffected in the state She said, if the national leadership of the party don’t intervene, the situation could further increase the existing intra party crisis rocking the State. On his part the, the State APC Publicity Secretary, Daniel Ihomun, accused, the National Women Leader of working against the the decision of the party despite being a member of the national working committee. It would be recalled that, in spite of the decision of the Benue State High Court, that reinstated the suspended the state’s Chairman, Augustine Agada, the APC National Woman Leader, still recognised the factional Chairman, Benjamin Omakolo which is not going down well with stakeholders.
