The trending CCTV footage showing the alleged assault by a PDP Senator, Elisha Abbo, of a woman in an adult shop in Abuja was the first item of debate at the resumption of plenary at the Nigerian Senate. The matter came up for mention on the floor of the Upper Chamber of the National assembly when the lawmaker representing Kaduna Central, Senator, Ubah Sani raised a motion under privileges, citing Order 15 of the Senate Standing rules.
