Collaborative Efforts, Key To Achieving ECOWAS Goals & Aspirations – Amb. Nuhu
A seasoned diplomat with over two decades of service to Nigeria, Ambassador, Musa Sani Nuhu, has described the visit by the delegation of the ECOWAS Parliament as a significant step towards enhancing regional integration and strengthening the bond between their institutions.
He disclosed this while playing host to a delegation from the ECOWAS Parliament, led by the new and first female speaker, Hajia Maimunatu Ibrahima.
He said “the visit is a significant step towards enhancing regional integration and strengthening the bond between our institutions.
“ECOWAS Parliament has been instrumental in improving the lives of citizens in our community, and we must continue to work together to address the challenges we face.”
The Ambassador emphasized the need for convergence and synergy between institutions to achieve common objectives, drawing from his experience as a former chairman of a committee.
“Nigeria is committed to regional integration, and we believe that inclusivity is key to achieving this goal,” he stressed.
The new speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Hajia Maimunatu Ibrahima, expressed her appreciation for the warm reception and reiterated the parliament’s commitment to working closely with the commission to address issues within the community.
Speaker Maimunatu Ibrahima however, thanked her host for a warm reception, noting that a new phase of the collaboration between the two institutions have been born.
“I’d like to acknowledge the witness connected to the camera tap during the election. Thank you for your contribution.
“This marks the beginning of a new era, and I look forward to our collaboration. I’m optimistic that we’ll have a productive and successful working relationship as we embark on this responsibility together.”
