A Civil Society Organisation has condemned the alleged move by some elements within the aviation sector and their foreign collaborators to scuttle the services of the only Nigeria’s private owned airline to ply the London route.
The group known as the National Civil Society Council of Nigeria made the call at a news conference in Abuja.
Speaking, the Executive Director, NCSCN, Blessing Akinlosotu said the brave entrance of the airline despite the collusive price war and dirty Aero politics did not only destroyed the myth in the airfare but significantly changed the narratives in the international aviation sector.
While urging Nigerians to patronise their own irrespective of the deceptive lower pricing of the foreign conspirators, said the commencement of the privately owned commercial airline on Lagos-London route at an unbelievable low rate came as great shocker and historic development in the aviation industry.
Some Members of the group also express their concerns over the conspiracy against the only indigenous airline flying the Nigeria-London route.
Nigeria ranks first in traveling to other countries around the world, as it has about 70 Million persons who travel in and out of the country annually.
