Comptroller General of The Nigerian Prisons Servuce, Jafaru Ahmed has stated that the service has successfully promoted about 20,000 officers since the inception of his adminstration. This he attributed to the many reforms by the president Muhammadu Buhari led administration. Delivering an interview at the commissioning of some infrastructural projects at the Prisons Staff School in Abuja, Jafaru highlighted more of the Service’s achievements towards improving the welfare of both staffs and prisoners.
