Bring Perpetrators Of Xenophobic Attacks To Book: Abike Dabiri Tasks Diplomats
A few years ago, Nigerians among other African nationals experienced one of the highest level of xenophobic attacks in South Africa. This led to loss of properties, lives, hospitalization of many, as well as displacement of some others. In recent times however, reports of possible xenophobic attacks against Nigerians residing in Ghana and Togo, have been gaining serious media attention. To checkmate the uprising, chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, paid a courtesy visit to the head of mission of the Ghana High Commission. she called on need to shun negative stereotypes against nations, resulting from offences committed by one or few bad eggs.
