The All Progressives Congress has cleared 12 gubernatorial aspirants that physically presented themselves to be screened by its Edo State Gubernatorial Aspirants’ Screening Committee.
A statement by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, all
the 12 aspirants that purchased the Expression of Interest Forms and Nomination Forms were screened by the Screening Committee over a two-day period between Thursday, 8th February, 2024 and Friday, 9th February, 2024.
The aspirants includes former Minister of Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, Senator Monday Okpebholo, former Deputy Governor Edo State,
Lucky Imasuen, Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri,
Former APC Governorship Candidate,Pastor Osagie Andrew Ize-Iyamu,Engr. Gideon Ikhine,Col. David Imuse (Rtd.), Gen. Charles Ehigie Airhiavbere (Rtd.).
Others are Former Edo state Governor
Prof. (Sen.) Oserheimen Osunbor, Blessing Agbomhere, Hon Dennis Idahosa and Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe.
The Certificate of Screening will be presented to all the 12 Gubernatorial Aspirants at the Party’s Secretariat on Saturday, 10th February, 2024.
