A member of the House of Representatives, and Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress, Hon. Dennis Idahosa has expressed worry over the state of insecurity in Edo state, saying the concern is top in his agenda to take over the Denis Osadebey Government House.
The lawmaker disclosed this at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja when he returned his Governorship nomination form.
Idahosa said his aspiration for the Edo 2024 governorship is driven by a desire to transform the state into a beacon of progress with key commitment to address the persistent herders / farmers conflict and other related challenges in the south south state.
Hon Idahosa who represents Ovia federal constituency in the House of Representatives also unfolded his vision for local government autonomy and other policies aimed at changing the narrative of governance in Edo state.
The aspirant who later had a parley with the media denied insinuations that he is the anointed candidate of former Governor and leader of APC in the state Adams Oshiomhole ahead of the party’s primary scheduled for February 2024.
