The Police Command of the Federal Capital Territory has again rescue another kidnapped victim, Suleiman Sabo in Sauka along Airport Road Abuja
According to a statement by SP Josephine Adeh, FCT
Police Public Relations Officer, the victim was rescued by Police Operatives attached to Iddo Divisional Headquarters on Sunday 21st January, 2023, at about 1130hrs.
She said one Mohammed Abel aged 32 from Kogi State was apprehended during the rescue operation and 1 LAR rifle with 10 rounds of life ammunition was recovered from him.
The FCT Police spokesperson further added that the victim who sustained some injuries from the kidnappers is currently receiving medical attention, and would be reunited with his family once certified fit by the medical team.
The FCT Police Commissioner, CP Haruna Garba in the statement reintegrated the command’s commitment to rid the Capital Territory of Criminality in all its manifestations and maintenance of peace for all and sundry.
