President of The Senate Lawan Sets Up Ad-Hoc C’ttee, Adjourns Sitting For 14 Days

The President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has swore in a 12-member ad-hoc committee to liaise with the management of the National Assembly on housekeeping issues The committee, which has Senator Abubakar Kyari as Chairman, is expected to work out the allocation of seats in the chamber as well as allocation of offices to the lawmakers. The President of the Senate while mandating the committee to immediately Commence its assigned responsibility, urged them to work with the Clerk of the Senate and submit their report within two weeks.
