The National Chairman of Allied People’s Movement APM, Alhaji Yusuf Dantalle has emerged as the new Chairman of the Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC Dantalle pulled 10 votes to defeat the former chairman of the council, Alhaji Sani Yagbaji who scored 8 votes in the keenly contested election held in Abuja.
In his victory speech, the new IPAC Chairman who vowed to reposition the council to greater heights, also indicated plans to give opportunity to more women in politics.
Meanwhile, the former chairman of IPAC and National Chairman of Action Democratic Party, Alhaji Yagbaji accepted defeat and promised to work with the new leadership.
With his victory at the poll, Alhaji Dantalle is expected to administer over the affairs of IPAC till 2025.
