The Armed Forces of Nigeria has once again expressed regrets over the Kaduna drone strike incident that claimed the lives of over 85 persons.

The Director, Defense Media Operations, Major General, Edward Buba said this at a news conference to update Nigerians on the strides recorded by troops in diverse operations in the last two weeks.

General, Buba assured of the armed forces commitment to deal with the issues relating to civilian casualties as well as make expected improvements going forward.

On the Achievements recorded by the Armed forces, he said troops in diverse theatre of Operations neutralized 80 terrorists, arrested 304 as 44 kidnapped hostages were rescued within the period under review.

The Defence Spokesperson further gave an update on the activities of troops of operation Delta Safe in the South South Zone that led to the arrest of 152 perpetrators of oil theft.

General, Buba however, assured that the military will remain focus on its core mission of creating a safe and secure environment for citizens.
