Kano Violence: NNPP Faction Indicts Kwankwaso, Calls For Investigations.

A faction of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), led by Agbo Major, has accused the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 General election for instigating political violence in the state.

Addressing the media in Abuja, Chairman of the Party, Agbo Major condemned the alleged activities of the former Governor which he attributed to reasons judges of the Governorship Election petitions tribunal relocated from the state.

He called for thorough investigation into the activities of the presidential candidate, especially as the party upholds the sanctity of Nigeria and committed to ensuring the safety of lives and property as enshrined in the constitution.

Dr Agbo also explained the intrigues surrounding the party’s leadership crisis insisting on the existence of a memorandum of understanding that allowed the former Governor of Kano state, to run for the 2023 presidential election on the NNPP platform.

The Agbo led faction further sue for peace as the supreme court considers the party’s appeal on the 2023 Governorship election.
