The Nigerian Army has reiterated commitment towards providing adequate security for Corps Members and NYSC Officials in the Country.
The Brigade Commander, 17 Brigade NA Katsina, Brigadier General A.O Fadairo stated this when the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Y.D Ahmed paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Katsina.
According to a statement by Eddy Megwa, Director Public Relations and Information, the Commander lauded the NYSC for its efforts in uniting the country through its programmes and posting policy and appealed for more stakeholders’ support for the Scheme.
General Fadairo also commended the NYSC DG for his giant strides of transformation since his assumption on duty.
“We will continue to partner to ensure that the Scheme does not suffer. We must make the NYSC more stronger in all ramifications”, the Commander said.
Earlier, the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General YD Ahmed appreciated the officers and men of the Brigade for their support for the NYSC Secretariat in Katsina State, especially in terms of maximum security for Corps Members and officials.
