The Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union (PTD) an arm of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has called on its members to exercise restraint and operate within the confines of the law.
The former Chairman of the Union, Lucky Osesua who made the appeal in Abuja, urged members of the union not to take laws into their hands, but wait for the determination of the pending case in court.
He expressed confidence that the outcome of the litigation will liberate the PTD.
Recall that the National industrial court of Nigeria in the Yenagoa Judicial Division holden at Yenagoa nullified the Petroleum Tanker Drivers Branch of NUPENG election which was held on 30th June 2022 that brought the leadership of Lucky Osesua as National Chairman and Dayyabu Garga as the Deputy chairman.
