Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abubakar Atiku, says Nigeria’s reputation is at stake following the certificate scandal of President Bola Tinubu.
The former vice president who addressed a world press conference in Abuja,said the decision to undertake the task was informed by the need to enthrone truth, justice and accountability in the history of the nations democratic system.
Atiku who said the journey embarked on by late human rights activist and lawyer Chief Gani Fawehinmi 23 years ago has finally been unraveled, urged Nigerians to support his campaign to enshrined credibility in governance.
The PDP presidential candidate also reacted to questions from newsmen dismissed insinuations of betrayal to President Tinubu.
Kalu Kalu is one of Atiku’s lawyers, he spoke on the legality of the documents obtained from the Chicago state university as it affects the former vice president case at the supreme court.
Chicago State University (CSU) had on Monday, October 2, released Tinubu’s academic documents following the order by an Illinois court to release the academic records as requested by Atiku.
