The Federal Government says it will continue to support the Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism and other criminal activities in the country.
Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Defence, Dr Ibrahim Kana gave the assurance while playing host to the Chief of Defence staff, Major General Christopher Musa and other Service Chiefs in his office in Abuja.
He said the Ministry is working inline with the vision of the new administration to restore peace and maintain internal security in the country.
He further solicited synergy with the service chiefs in some of the reform’s by the ministry.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa in his remarks assured of the Armed Forces determination to bring about peace and tranquility in the country as well as remain professional and respect human rights.
The visit is part of the Chief of Defence staff and service chiefs familiarisation tour to various military formations in the country.
