The need for Parents and guardians to speak out and deal with issues related to sexual violence has once again been emphasized
An Abuja based pastor and author, Ejiro Otive-Igbuzor made the call at the launch of her two books entitled, “The Travails of Omotejomo and Trophy Husband” in Abuja.
Speaking on the sideline of the event which attracted dignitaries from all walks of life the author said she was inspired to write the book on sexual violence to create the awareness about the scourge.
considering its implications on the lives and families of victims. Commenting on the books, the wife of the former Senate President Regina Omo-Agege commended the author for encouraging victims of sexual violence to speak out.
Other speakers at the occasion also pointed out that sexual abuse is a prevalent issue in Nigeria that must be fought by all stakeholders.
