The New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP has indicated plans to resolve the leadership crisis rocking it’s Imo state chapter.
The state chapter of the Party has been bedeviled with crisis with two factions claiming leadership. Addressing Journalists on the development in Abuja,the NNPP National Publicity Secretary, Dr Agbo Major said the party has wadded into the matter directing both factions to maintain status quo.
The NNPC further stated its resolve to take over the Imo state government house and urged the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to do the needful.
With a sitting Governor in Kano state, 2 Senators, 20 House of Representatives and several States House of Assembly members, Dr Major said the NNPP is set to bolster the nation’s constitutional rule as the fastest growing political party in Nigeria.
