Indications from the Defence headquarters reveals that the land,maritime and air component of the joint Task Force of Operation Delta Safe have denied oil thieves products worth over eighty two (82) million naira.
This was disclosed by the Director, Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. Musa Danmadami at a press briefing on the strides recorded by troops in diverse operations from 1st-15th June, 2023.
He said the feat was achieved during operational activities conducted by the troops at the waterfalls, creeks and bush paths in Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers State.
On the activities of troops in the Northern part of the country, Gen Danmadami stated that troops in diverse operations neutralized scores of terrorist as well as arrest a suspected terrorist logistic supplier.
While commending the unrelenting efforts and resilience of troops,the Military high command also applaud the general public for their support while urging them to continue to provide prompt and creditable information on the activities of terrorists and other criminal elements in their areas.
