CSO Sacks Leader For Extortion, Distance Self From Protest Against CBN.

Coalition of Civil Society Organisation for Good Governance sacked its President, Comrade Bassey Etuk for alleged abuse of office.

The newly elected President Barr. Olakunle Oladimeji disclosed this to news men after a vote-of-no-confidence was passed on the former President by the Congress in Abuja.

He said the ousted President was also guilty of gross misconduct, blackmailing and Extortion of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN and other government officials among other offences.

While apologising to alleged victims, Barr. Oladimeji assured Nigerian that the group will prosecute the former President to serve as deterrent to others.

The group however, assured the Central Bank of Nigeria, its Governor, Godwin Emefiele, other government officials and private personalities that henceforth anyone found using the Coalition for self aggrandisement would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
