The National Organising Secretary of the Labour Party, Clement Ojukwu has denied insinuations of Leadership crisis rocking the Party.
Ojukwu who gave the indication when he and three others were conferred with public service award by the Parliament Diary Media Group in Abuja said the party alongside the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC recognizes Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party.
He faulted those claiming leadership of the party when a national convention and NEC meeting was yet to be convened.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Parliament Diary Media group, Precious Enebuse, said the Parliament Diary Outstanding Public Service Award was an effort to show appreciation to change agents who have sufficiently contributed in reshaping Nigeria in their various endeavours.
The need to rejig Nigeria’s reward system, to recognize and appreciate hard work and patriotism among citizens was further emphasized at the event
