The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Transition Council, Boss Mustapha has said that the 29th May, 2023 Presidential Transition will hold with or without litigations.
Mustapha who stated this at a world press conference in Abuja to unveil the programme of activities marking the 2023 presidential transition assured of President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment to a seamless transfer of power to the President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Boss Mustapha while noting that nothing will stop the transition of power come may 29th inspite of the litigation going on stated that the PTC has interfaced with leading democratic nations as part of its learning efforts to pick up useful lessons in line with international best practices.
He further reeled out the programme of event put together to mark the 2023 Presidential Inauguration. In his remarks, the National Security Adviser and Chairman, Security, Facility and Intelligence Committee, General Babagana Monguno (rtd) stated that the committee has worked on restrictions of movement wethin the areas of events to ensure a safe transition of power.
The theme of the May 29th, 2023 and 7th Consecutive Democratic Transition of Power is “NIGERIA: Better Together”.
