Nigerian Government has reiterated its commitment towards repositioning the Federal Civil Service into one of the best globally acclaimed public institutions will better service delivery in all sectors of the economy.
The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, gave the assurance in Abuja at a one-day Consultative forum of Directors/ Heads of Reforms coordination and service improvement in Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
He said the Ministry is the first to host such a high power meeting outside the Head of Civil service, noting that it is in furtherance of the ongoing reforms anchored on the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021 – 2025.
On his part, the Permanent Secretary, Service Policies and Strategic Office of Civil service, Okon Udo, said the ongoing reforms will transform the Nigerian Civil Service into a World standard.
Recall that the new Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 is a successor to the previous strategy which covered 2017-2020.
