FG Partners Channel Network Afrique On 5yr Strategic Media Plan

The Federal Government has set out a five year programme to strengthen the nation’s health sector.

The Director and Head, Health Promotion Division of the Federal Ministry of Health, Ladidi Aiyegbusi, disclosed this when she led a delegation to the Corporate Headquarters of Channel Network Afrique (CNA) in Abuja.

She said the visit to the frontline online media outfit is to strengthen the existing relationship with the media in driving the vision and mission of the federal government on disease control and eradication.

Noting that the collaboration will be beyond the five year implementation plan, the Director further outlined various steps needed to ensure that the objective is achieved. Some members of the delegation also spoke on sundry issues in the health sector.

On his part, the CEO Traditional and Complimentary Medicine, Bitrus Freeman, said there is need to rid the sector quacks, in order to improve health care through traditional medicine.

Responding, Senior Editor, Channel Network Afrique, CNA, Frederick Idehai said the visit by the Federal Government’s delegation to seek for collaboration was apt especially as the country is still grappling with aftermath of the impact of the Corona Virus Pandemic.

He however, assured the delegation of CNA’s maximum support to place Nigeria’s health sector among the comity of nations.
