March 8th is a day set aside annually to celebrate the International Women’s Day.
This year’s edition provides another opportunity to celebrate and take stock of how women have come in the struggle for equality, peace and development as well as their social, Cultural and political achievements globally.
Channel Network Afrique, CNA Crew took to the streets of Abuja metropolis to feel the pulse of residents on the relevance of the day as it concerns issues affecting women in the society.
They further solicited more opportunities for women in governance.
The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day celebration is, “DigitALL: Innovations and Technology for Gender Equality”.
