Coalition of Civil Society Organisations have warned all political parties, politicians and their stakeholders to be mindful of their words and actions as the polity is already headed up.
The National Coordinator, Global Network for Sustainable Development, Phil Roberts who gave the warning at a press conference in Abuja said it is not those speaking out against electoral malpractices that are inciting people to violence but those who are perpetrating the malpractices.
He further dismissed the statement by the All Progressives Congress Special Adviser, Media and Communication, Dele Alake who called for the Apprehension of the Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Eneche as an unwarranted threat to his life and a breach of his fundamental human right.
Other stakeholders questioned the credibility of the elections.
According to the Civil Society Organisations, the irregularities that greeted the elections has attracted reactions both locally and internationally as the International Republican Institute, National Democratic institute and Joint Election Observations and the Nigerian Labour Congress express concerns over the Independent National Electoral Commissions alleged lack of transparency in the process.
