The wife of the All Progressive Congress Presidential Candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has assured the community of persons with disabilities that they will not be neglected if her husband is elected as the next president in the forthcoming general elections.
Senator Tinubu disclosed this in Abuja, when the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Persons with Disability, hosted her along side the wife of the Vice Presidential Candidate Nana Shattima.
She said, the Tinubu Shettima administration will make the voice of PWDs to be heard like any other segment of the society, .
In his remarks, the Executive Secretary of NCPWD, James Lalu, said the Tinubu Shetimma ticket will get the support of the PWDs as the APC is the only party that over the years identified with the disability community.
Highpoint of the meeting was the distribution of sewing machines, hair dryers, grinding machines to some pwds.
