The Director General, Industrial Training Fund, Sir Joseph Ari on Tuesday in Abuja was conferred with the Leadership Award of the Public Service Person of the year 2022.
The Award was conferred to him for his home-grown initiatives that expanded existing skills acquisition programmes which led to the training and empowerment in four years of over five hundred thousand (5000,000) Nigerians who are currently earning sustainable livelihood as paid employers and entrepreneurs.
Speaking to journalists on the significance of the award of excellence to him, the ITF boss said the award will motivate him to do more in the service of humanity.
He noted that if out of over 200 million people he was found worthy to be recognised by the Leadership group, it calls for more work.
The ITF boss who dedicated the award to the agency’s staff, appreciated President, Muhammadu Buhari for giving him the opportunity to serve.
