The Federal Government says all is set for the 2023 annual Technology and Innovation Exposition programme.
The Minister of State, Science, Technology and Innovation, Henry Ikoh disclosed this at a press conference organised to announce the commencement of the expo, which will take place from Monday16th to Friday 20th January 2023.
Ikoh said the Expo will create an enabling environment for innovation and invention, also provide access to funding, creating a culture of innovation within government and private sector organisations as well as encouraging collaboration between public and private sectors.
He stressed the need for Nigeria to explore new opportunities and sectors to drive economic growth, noting that STI holds great potential for the Country.
He also noted that, there will be presentation of the three Best Young Scientist of Nigeria to Mr President, at the opening ceremony. The theme for the 2023 edition of the Science Expo is, ” Actualizing Effective Diversification of the Nigerian Economy through Science, Technology and Innovation”
