The need for Nigerians, Particularly women to get their Permanent Voters Card and vote for candidates of their choice, has once again been emphasized.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC commenced the distribution of PVCs on 12th December, 2022 to enable eligible Nigerians vote in next year’s general elections.
As part of efforts to ensure that market women are sensitized about the development, the Pan African Women Project, PWAP took it’s sensitization drive on PVC collection to Lafia, Nasarawa state, where the Head of Mission, PWAP, Dr Eno Udensi explained that the PVC remains the only right by Nigerians to vote for credible candidates.
She encouraged the market women to participate in the electoral process assuring them of efforts by INEC to ensure their votes count.
The Market women Leaders also took turns to speak on reasons why their members and other women should prioritize the collection of their PVCs.
