Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has indicated plans to deploy high level security technology to deal decisively with security challenges in the state.Gov.
Bello stated this while declaring open a two-day strategy session with a Chinese security company on a satellite driven visual digital security cover for Kogi State ;A 21st Century Integrated Smart State/Security Architecture in Abuja.
He said for Kogi State and the country at large to develop economically, the issue of insecurity must be tackled first for such development to be achieved.Gov Bello assured that his administration will continue to double it’s effort to ensure that all criminal elements are flushed out from the state.
In his presentation, Representative of the Chinese Company, Hytera Communications, Stanley Song stated how the deployment of high-level security gadgets in the state will reduce it’s crime rate.
It is expected that deployment of such technology will no doubt attract both local and foreign investors as well as create employment opportunities, develop and boost the economy of the confluence state.
