The leadership crisis in the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) has taken a new dimension as its National Chairman, Victor Oye is calling on security agencies to arrest and prosecute another claimant, Edozie Njoku for allegedly forging court documents in a bid to take over as the party’s National Chairman.
Oye, made the call at a press conference at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja few days Njoku held a press conference demanding to be recognized as the authentic national Chairman.
Oye also described as false the Njoku’s claims that Supreme Court in a judgement recognized him as the National Chairman of the party.
He challenged Njoku to show the world any judgment that recognized him saying that the Court of Appeal in Kano had also affirmed the leadership status of the party as duly constituted at the party’s National Convention.
Recall that Njoku on the 8th November, 2022 at a press conference in Abuja insisted that he has a supreme court judgement that recognized his position as chairman of APGA since May 2022.
He further expressed dissatisfaction over INEC’s reluctance to recognize him as the party’s chair based on the supreme Court judgment.
