Breaking: Buhari’s Plans To Confirm Tanko As Chief Justice of Nigeria Sparks Outrage
On the 25th of January 2019, president Muhammadu Buhari appointed Tanko Muhammad as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.
This, was as a result of the allegations of corruption and non declaration of assets levelled against former Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen.
Following unconfirmed plans by the president to confirm Muhammad as the CJN, the decision has sparked uproar.
