Over 60 religious and humanitarian leaders have been conferred with an award of change Ambassadors for peace and humanity by the Youth Education and Leadership Initiative (YELI).
The Founder, YELI international Nigeria, Amb. Amedu Amedu the award presentation in Abuja said the recipients were deserving of the gesture inview of their contributions to the services of humanity and moral standing in the society.
A United Nations Ambassador for quality and affordable education in Africa, Dr. Adekunle Badmus who was awarded with a Doctorate degree and a Diplomatic appointment stated that the award is an encouragement to do more in the area of impacting quality and affordable education to Africans.
He further assured of efforts in the implementation of educational Government bilateral agreement which he noted if well harnessed will impact in the lives of over 80 million Nigerians.
The theme of the peace conference and humanitarian award is : Beyond COVID 19 Pandemic, The Roles of Change Ambassador for Peace and Humanity in the Actualization of the United Nations SDGs.
