The National Examinations Council, NECO has released the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, internal, results.
Announcing the results, in Minna, Niger State, the Registrar of NECO, Prof Dantani Wushishi, said 1,209,703 candidates registered for the examination with 636,327 male, representing 52.60 per cent and 573,376 female, representing 47.39 per cent.
Wushishi revealed that over 700,000 candidates made five credits and above in English language and Mathematics.
Stating that the 2022 exercise was adjudged credible by stakeholders, the NECO boss attributed the feat to the council’s zero tolerance for malpractice.
Further analysis of the results indicates that twenty nine Supervisors were blacklisted for various offences ranging from poor supervision, Insult, Aiding and Abetting, during the examinations.
