The Federal Government has been advised on need for continuous support of Pilgrimage operations in Nigeria..
Chairman,House Committee on Pilgrimage Affairs Abubakar Nalaraba made the Call in Abuja at the Bid Opening for Airlifting and Ground Handling services of the 2022 pilgrimage.
The lawmaker restated the commitment of the National Assembly to legislations that will further expand the scope of the pilgrimage exercise.
He commended the Commission for it’s transparency in the bid opening noting that the success and failure of every pilgrimage Exercise starts and end with Airlifting.
Earlier, the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, Rev Yakubu Pam assured of the Commissions Zero tolerance to corruption and abscondment.
The Bid Opening which will go through evaluation before selections was witnessed by the Contractors, Observers and Supervisory bodies from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,Bureau of public Procurement and Aviation, among others.
