Nigeria’s total debt stock skyrocketed in 2018 to over twenty four point three trillion naira about two point seven trillion naira higher than the twenty one point seven trillion recorded at the end of 2017. The Director General, Debt Management Office, Patience Oniha who disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja Nigeria’s Capital said the domestic debt accounted for 68.18 percent of the figure which consisted of debts owed by both the federal and state governments.
