Jane Watson has emerged winner of the maiden edition of 40 and Fabulous Reality Television show, She was announced winner at the grand finale of the reality show in Abuja with a cash gift of N10 million and a car. While Omotomilola Makanjuola came second as Princess Okaine emerged third.
Speaking on her motivating factor to the show, Founder, Mother of Models and organiser, 40 & Fabulous Naija, Nnenna Abani, said the show shows that women who are advancing in age could still learn a trade, go back to school and start a business.
She said in other climes, women who are above 70 years still engage on business which is not the case in Nigeria noting that the desire to lift women out of poverty inspired her to organise the show.
The Nigerian veteran actress and musician reiterated that the show targeted to promote dignity and respect among Nigerian women.
According to her, the reality show is aimed at helping the multi-tasking women chose their right career as well as create a platform to help depressed women who are 40 years and above, adding that the 10 contestants received training in the areas of photography, tips in managing money and entrepreneurship during the 60 days show.
On his part, Mr Kennedy Ajah, the Executive Producer of 40 & Fabulous,. who described the process as tough for the organiser and the women said the show will be expand to other African countries and beyond.
