Since its establishment in 2012, Jaiz bank has positively imparted on the nation’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises subsector of the economy.
The bank in the last ten years of it existence has supported small businesses with about sixty billion Naira. Speaking at an interactive session with the Finance Correspondents Association of Nigeria, FICAN, in Abuja on the bank’s giant strides, the Managing Director, Jaiz Bank, Hassan Usman said the SMEs portfolio has also grown significantly.
He said the bank has created facilities for more than twenty thousand individuals as well as invested over seventy five billion Naira in the agricultural sector.
He said the bank not being unmindful of the housing deficit in the country financed and delivered more than three thousand houses in the period under review.
Jaiz bank however, witnessed rapid branch network expansion from three at it inception to forty-five branches across the country.
