The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu has ordered the immediate closure of Federal Government College Kwali, Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja .
The Minister who gave the directive in the early hours of this morning said the closure became necessary following security breach in Sheda and Lambata Villages, suburbs of Kwali Area Council which also threatened the college in Kwali.
According to a signed statement by Ben Bem Goong,Director Press and Public Relations, the minister applauded the timely interventions of the security agencies which he noted saved the situation.
Adamu who ordered that arrangements should be made for final year students to conclude their NECO examinations also directed Principals of the Unity Colleges across the country to liaise with security Agencies within their jurisdictions inorder to forstore any security breach in our schools.
