As the global economy grabbles to find its feet as a result of the ongoing Russian-Ukraine war, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, MAN says Africa needs to take the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement very seriously.
The Director General, MAN, Segun Ajayi-Kadir, disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Channel Network Afrique, CNA, in Abuja.
He said AFCFTA is the best thing that has happened to the continent in recent times adding that Africa needs to integrate economical for its advancement.
Mr Ajayi-Kadir also noted that Nigeria as the leading economy in Africa needs to locate itself strategically to enjoy market penetrations from the continental market.
He also spoke on the importance of cross border partnership among member nations.
The MAN, Director General, however, called on the Federal Government to continue to improve on the country’s business environment to sustain its positive trajectory in the ranking of Ease of Doing Business.
