The Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Candidate for Lagos State, Olajide Adediran has explained reasons why he submitted five deputy governor nominees for screening. Speaking at PDP national Secretariat in Abuja, the venue of the screening, Adediran popularly known as Jandor said the nomination of five persons for his running mate show that Lagos as a center of excellency has many qualified persons for the deputy governor position.
Some of the nominees from other states who were screened commended the exercise, expressing satisfaction on the manner of questions thrown at them and verification of their documents by the members of the PDP screening committee. The screening committee chaired by the former PDP National Chairman, Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo screened nominees for deputy governors across 28 states in the country for the 2023 general elections.
