Aisha Buhari Drums Support For Women Aspirants Ahead of APC Primaries.
Wife of the Nigerian President, Aisha Buhari has called for support for women aspirants ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries.
She made the call at the APC Secretariat in Abuja when she paid a working visit to the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
The first lady who spoke to newsmen shortly after a closed door meeting with some members of the APC National Executive Committee said her visit was purely to advocate support for women.
The Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, on her part reiterated the critical role of women in nation building.
The wife the President, Aisha Buhari was accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo and Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Pauline Tallen.
