As Nigeria intensifies efforts diversify its economy by moving from oil dependence to non oil economy, the place of export cannot be over emphasized. Recently, the Nigerian Export Promotion Council NEPC, stepped up its game by supporting Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to compete favourably in the International market.
To compliment this move, the Organization of Youths in Nigerian Trade and Commerce in collaboration with Committee of Youths on Mobilization and Sensitization, have taken it upon itself to mentor young entrepreneurs on what is required for export trading.
Speaking at a mini exhibition in Abuja, President, Organization of Youths in Nigerian Trade and Commerce, Chinedu Amadi said the event is aimed at exposing exclusive “Made In Nigeria” products and services to the International Market for Foreign Direct Investment opportunities for the country.
Earlier, the Director General, Committee of Youths on Sensitization and Mobilisation, Obama Nwaka said the show is to prepare participants for the forth coming Trade show conference in Houston, Texas, USA in July this year The organization however, called on state Trade Unions, state governments and other stakeholders to sponsor entrepreneurs to represent Nigeria at the conference in America.
