Former President Good luck Jonathan may challenge the likes of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo,Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu and others for the presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress as a group known as the ‘Fulani and Almagiri’s, purchased the N100 million nominations and expression of interest forms on his behalf.
The group arrived at the International Conference Centre late hours of Monday to pick the forms wearing sporting face caps with the inscription ‘run Jonathan run’.
The group led by Ibrahim Abdulahi while addressing Journalists said they are only returning a favor done to them by the former president through his policy of reformation and integration Of Almajiri Into the mainstream educational system in Nigeria.
Similarly,, the Northern Solidarity Group for Timipre Sylva ,led by Alhaji Sulaiman Abdullahi were also on ground to pick the presidential nomination forms for the Minister of State for Petroleum. Accepting the form from the Solidarity Group at his NNPC Towers office in Abuja, the Minister expressed joy for the love shown to him by Nigerians from all works of life.
The presidential primaries of the APC is slated to hold at the end of May 2023.
