Some female aspirants who are vying for various elective positions under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) converged at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja to strategize on ways of actualizing their ambitions.
The meeting which was convened by the PDP National Woman Leader, Prof. Stella Effah-Attoe drew the PDP female aspirants from all parts of the country and other senior female party stakeholders.
Effah-Attoe who disclosed the number of the female aspirants also stressed the need for them to remain focused and worked assiduously to achieve their objectives.
Speaking to journalists on the sideline of the interactive meeting some of the aspirants revealed some of the challenges that hamper their chances of clinching the party’s ticket.
Other takeaways from the meeting include the need for the aspirants to work with state governors and party chairmen in their efforts to realize their dreams. End
