As the horse trading and political Manoeuvring intensifies ahead of the 2023 general elections, the ruling all Progressives Congress has officially pegged the form for the highest office in the land at a whopping one hundred million naira.
This decision was taken at the party’s first National Executive Council meeting under the leadership of Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
Addressing news men on some of the issues deliberated at the 11th NEC meeting of the party in Abuja, the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka said the fees fixed for the Expression of Interest and nomination forms is to ensure probity.
He also said the party’s NEC has picked 18th May to 1st June, 2022 as date for its election primaries. He further noted that the NWC will be committed in resolving every pending issues in order to have a common formidable front ahead of next year’s polls.
